The Russett name originated in Yorkshire in the 1500’s In 1768 Russett sailed into Bristol from Yorkshire as they say the rest is history. There are only 2 areas in the UK that are home to the Russett – Russitt name, they are Bristol and West Yorkshire. As a direct descendent of the original Joseph Russett of 1768 a Marrinor who sailed into Bristol, I have made an extensive study of the family name through out the past centuries. Registered with the Guild of One-Name Studies. I am willing to share data with family members mh007a2521atblueyonder,co uk Michael Chipping Sodbury
