Looking for any connections to the name Ruegenn also Elizabeth Rose Cooper Ruegenn my Mothers maiden name was Ruegenn but she still has a family bible with the name Cooper in it. Any help gratefully received. Have managed to trace back to a marriage in 1847 of Claus Ruegenn who was a sugar refiner a lot of german imigrants worked as sugar boilers around this time he married Mary Ann Larkin Cluass farther was called hyarm ruegenn and is described on certificate as a farmer so I prosume he was not in england at that time.
