Find Ancestors

Hi

Anyone mind helping me find more information such as parents of the following, also need to find births:

Private Percy Marshall Roberts died 26.01.42 (age 31)
Lieutenant George Roberts died 02.08.43 (age 29)

They were both in the Gordon Highlanders Roll of Honour as they were serving in the Gordon Highlands (Scotland). I think it is possible they may have been born in Scotland although this is not definite.

I could find nothing for Percy being born in scotland but there is this on ,,,freebmd,,,and its the only one between years 1910 and 1912

I have just found parents for George Roberts - he was son of George and Jane Richardson Roberts of Edinburgh!

Also, been given a bit more information from FIL that Percy Marshall Roberts was born in Glasgow.

There is no Percy Roberts showing on ScotlandsPeople,that I can see,I have checked again.
