Trying to find Remington

I am trying to find anyone who may be related to my great great grandfather George Joseph Remington, he was born circa 1852 in Richmond-upon-Thames, Surrey, the son of George Remington. At some time before 1881 he joined the army and was posted to several places, around the UK, Ireland and India accompanied by his wife and children. He married Rebecca James in 1875 in Pembrokeshire (where she was born) and had several children - Mary Rebecca, William George (died aged 15), Emily Louisa (married Arthur Gardner and moved to United States), Almie, Llewellyn John, Albert Edward, David George (my great grandfather) and probably a lot more who were born in India. It would be wonderful to hear from anyone who thinks they may be related. |
