I am trying to trace any relatives of my birth mother Irene Bernadette Perry born 1921 came from Erdington, Birmingham, daughter of James Perry, railway driver (mother's name could be Joan Elizabeth). Married Walter Leonard Dighton at St. Thomas of Canterbury Church, Erdington on 26.10.1946. Had first Daughter Yvonne around 1946, then I was born in 1955, adopted at birth, later had another daughter also adopted at birth around 1965, known only as Susan who was adopted by a family in the North of England. Looks like my mothers family all came from the Birmingham area. Would be grateful for any information to try and piece together my birth family. |
