I WONDER IF ANYBODY CAN HELP AS WE HAVE COME TO A COMPLETE BLANK. MY GRANDFATHER DIES ON MITCHAM COMMON IN 1969.
I HAVE MAMAGED TO LOCATE AN AUNT I NEVER KNEW I HAD WHICH IS FANTASTIC!
SHE NEVER KNEW HER FATHER. WE KNEW THAT WILLIAM PARKINSON (KNOWN AS JIMMY) WAS LIVING WITH OR NEAR HIS SISTER. HE WAS REGISTERED AS LIVING AT CARMININA ROAD, I HAVE CHECKED ON FRIENDS REUNITED BUT NO JOY.
HIS SISTER WAS CALLED MARY - BUT MAY HAVE BEEN KNOWN AS GRACIE. HE ALSO HAD A BROTHER DOWN THERE WITH HIM, BUT I DON'T KNOW WHICH ONE - I AM DESPERATE FOR ANY INFORMATION ABOUT HIS LAST MONTHS - HE WOULD HAVE STOOD OUT LIKE A SORE THUMB AS HE HAD A STRONG SCOUSE ACCENT. HE WAS ALSO SEEING A VERY YOUNG GIRL.
DOES THIS RING ANY BELLS WITH ANYBODY????
ANY HELP OR DIRECTION WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED. I KNOW HIS SISTER WAS DEFINATLY MARY AS I HAVE HER BIRTH REGISTERED, BUT THE NAME GRACIE HAS APPEARED???? PLEASE HELP..........LEANNE
