I have Rosina E Pannell, however ive just added this to my tree in ancestry and it has come up with a different spelling, so l looked into it and have now got three different ways of spelling Pannell and have no idea which one is right. |

Hello Roxanne, some of the information on your other Pannell thread is relevant to this query so it's best to keep all queries about a family on the same thread as it helps with cross-referencing. |

Roxanne, if your grandmother was Rosina Elizabeth who was your grandfather? |

Yeah |

Rosina Elizabeth was born as Pannell, and married as Pannell. It's possible that it was just a mis-spelling on your mum's birth record - it happens. |

I won't post details of people who may be alive but did your mum have a younger sister who's name began with C? If so, the mother's maiden name for her is spelled Parnell. |

It's always better to be cautious about spellings but in this case it's just down to error and you're not on the wrong track. |
