Member Since: December 2002 Posts: 13 Send Message	I've managed to get as far back as William Newell b.1816 in Pontefract Yorkshire, he married Elizabeth ? b.1817 in Wakefield Yorkshire but I'm now stuck. William's grandaughter is my g grandmother Annie Newell b. 1876 in Mexborough Yorkshire and at some point she ran the Canal Tavern at Swinton Yorkshire, she had 2 husbands 1st Harry Clifford b. 1874 in Ireland and 2nd ? Vickers. Her father was George Newell b.1853 in Mexborough Yorks and her mother was Mary Pendlebury b. 1857 in Mexborough Yorks. Do these names and dates ring any bells?
