Hi, My name is Amanda Louise Lang (Nee Morton) For those of you that don't already know, we originated "The Morton's" that is, from Forte William in Bonny Scotland. Before our ancestors left Scotland, we ALL used to spell our name MORETON......The first of our clan to move to England did so and dropped the "E" leaving us as MORTON's. We have our own family Tartan, I think is is Buchannan....I could be wrong about the name, but the colours are black or navey blue, green & white. I know that my Great Uncle Henrey used to live in Watford, Hertfordshire - where my grandad Charlie (Charles) died. There are still Morton's and family members living in that area. Take care.....
