Trying to trace any of my mothers family links.(Jean) Born in N Ireland (Coleraine district) her father was called Robert John Millen her family incuding 2 sisters the rest brothers. Her mother died when she was 7. Her siblings were Henrietta, Molly (May), Sam. Bertie (Robert). Walter, Jimmy (James), these are the ones I can recall from childhood. Jimmy was a Royal Marine and lived in Deal after he finished his service and was married to a lady called Dot (Dorothy?) they had one son. As her middle name was Cauley I have often wondered if this was her mother's maiden name. Please contact me with any details you may think appropriate. |
