My G Great Grandfather John McLeod was born abt 1811.

He married Margaret McInnes on the 30 January 1836. Parish of Snizort, County of Inverness. They had five children. Norman (Nord) my Great Grandfather, John and Mary who emigrated to Australia, Catherine and Alexander.

I believe Margaret died. I haven't been able to find out exactly when but I think it was somewhere between 1846 and 1849. He then married Catherine Finlayson and they had 3 children, Archibald, Murdo and Charles.

He was from the Isle of Skye Scotland. I can't find out exactly when and where he was born or when and where he died.

If anyone has come across him in their searches I would be extremely grateful for any information.
