Searching for info/descendants of Hugh Geoffrey Hudson Mace, born Frimley 1913, lived in Mersey St Preston as a boy, then in an orphanage after his mother Florence Mace (nee Hudson) died of TB in 1919. He was still in touch with twin sisters Elsie and Joan of 40 Haweside St, Southport in the 1930s, married Dorothy Brown of same address in late thirties, served in WWII. After WWII, he and Dorothy parted, and he stayed in London, last heard of in 1947 in Brook St, Fulham - possibly went into the catering industry after the war. |
