LUCY I am seeking information on the family of my late mother Doris (both living and deceased). She was the youngest of twelve children born to James (Jim) and Hannah Lucy. Her eight surviving siblings were Hannah (Rutland), Nell (Leach), Mary (Murrel), Milly (Bonner), George (Lucy), Tom (Lucy), & Joe (Lucy). They originated in the Stepney, Hackney, Poplar areas of London. James Lucy worked as a stevedore on East India Docks. Hannah Lucy (along with my mother) were evacuated to the Midlands in the war years (1939-45). Hannah Lucy was born in 1883, but I do not have her maiden name.
