Trying to find any info on William Albert Leggett.
He married Mary Agnes Bailey in Canada.

When did he get married and how old was he?

I think they were probably married somewhere around 1892-1894 in Ontario Canada. Their first daughter was born 1894, the next 1895, and the third 1897. He was accidentally killed in 1898. He was born about 1860 & she was born about 1866.

I'm still looking for any info on who William Albert Leggett was, who his parents were, and what part of England he came from.

I have found the marriage of William Albert Leggett and Mary Agnes Bailey (my great grandparents). They were married on November 5, 1892 in Toronto Ontario Canada. Unfortunately, there is no mention of parents or what part of England for William. I do have Mary Agnes' parents as Sarah Day and Joseph Bailey. I don't even know what part of England Joseph Bailey was born. Sarah Day was born in Greenwich England and Sarah and Joseph were married in Greenwich. I can't go any further with this side of the family and I'm very frustrated.

I need help as to how to go about finding these family members.

There is only one William A Legett born in England that would fit, and he's still in England in 1901. So yours must be just William. I can't really see any way of finding his birth. There's this emigrator:

He's on the same "contract ticket" as a William Harmer, Harner or Farmer, a Labourer, aged 27. Departed from Liverpool, arrived 3 Mar 1882.

There are quite a few Leggetts emigrated to Canada, but not on the same ship.

Oh, not another load of wasted time.

If anyone is mad because I have not thanked them I am sorry. I have been taking care of my parents who each went through severe surgery, a friend is not well with no family to help, and I have had shoulder surgery. So, I thank everyone who has tried to help me.

Are you sure he was William Albert.
