I know my great great grandmother (Julia Taylor nee Keaton/Keeton B-16th Jan 1848) absconded to Canada - Vancouver I believe - with the family inheritance (illegally!) but her trail has gone cold in the UK after the 1881 census, in which she was the head of household after her husband Samuel Taylor had died. They lived in the parish of St Mary Magdalene, Bermondsey, London. |
