My grandmother was born to John and Sarah Ann Jones(nee Harries), She was born in Llanedy,in Carms, (in 1884) her father was Foreman OF Cold Rolls at a tinplate works.She was Christened Margarite Harries,her mother put her own maiden name onto that of all her children She had a brother William Harries Jones born in 1871.,she also had two sisters, Katie and Mabel. too. However my grandmother was brought up by her aunt and Uncle--James and Kate (Harries) Gandy ,in Neath-so I know nothing about her sistersor brother--anyone with any idea they might be related please let me know! I would also like to trace any descendants of John Jones ,or his children--William Katie and Mabel. Thanks |
