He was one of six children born to William Gaut and Mary Hague.Most of the family now live in Nottinghamshire, with the exception of Geoffrey Gaut who lives in Hertfordshire. I was recently contacted by Lynne Mee in New Zealand, who gave me some very interesting information about my family name. Lynne's Mother was a Gaut and I hope that anyone reading this with Gaut connections will contact me.Thanks [email protected]
