Member Since: January 2003 Posts: 1 Send Message	I'm trying to find information about anybody called Galland who may have been associated with Chester, possibly pre 1880-ish. I know that my grandmother lived in the Stanley Place area of the city. But who knows where she originated from? Family legend has it that she was descended from a wealthy Cheshire family by the name of Lyons or Llyons. My grandmothers name was Elizabeth but was known as Polly As far as I know she may have had a sister called Ann, Anne or Annie. Somebody out there must have a link to this unusual name in Chester or Cheshire.
