Member Since: March 2003 Posts: 110 Send Message	ERNEST WILLIAM GAIN b. 1882 d. 1943 1901 census living at 82 Christchurch Road, Ashford, Kent with the Clapson family. Occupation: Steam Engine Fitter apprentice. married Isobel Ann Howland b. 1880-1955. Ernest later worked for Vickers Armstrong and the family lived in Vickers Road, Erith, Kent. Ernest was the son of John Gain (b. 1853) and Alice Louisa Webster (b. 1856 Lymington) who lived at 60 Ladbrooke Rd Redhill Surrey. John was a Railway Inspector. Any relations out there?
