Trying to locate any information on my great grandfather Freddie Fox. I believe he was a bare-knuckle fighter in and around the Fulham/Chelsea area of London. I know nothing of his wife other than she was known as "Kosh". They had 8 children of which one is my grandfather William Ernest Fox (dob 08/08/1911). I have no dob for Freddie I'm assuming that he must have been born c1880 ish to account for my grandfather's age. I am aware that he may actually have been my great, great grandfather as my grandfather didn't find out that the woman he though was his sister for 40 years was actually his mother (at her funeral). This is an issue that has plagued my grandfather ALL his 91 years and any information would be greatly appreciated. |
