I'm wondering if anyone knows of a connection between the following:
John Fortnum b 1819 Bledlow Bucks son of Thomas Fortnum b 1794 and Mary Prentice;
and
Thomas Edward Fortnam b 1864 Chinnor, Oxon m Emily Gibbs (b 1872) in Bradford, Yorks in 1894.
I am curious to know if there is a connection because Mary's brother married Rebecca Gibbs d of William Gibbs and Martha Walker. Emily Gibbs is a ggdaughter of William and Martha.
Any information would be welcome, thanks.
