Forrester has been carried on through my family from eldest son to eldest son for the last five generations, the story goes that my GGGrandfather, named 'Forrester Wilson' because his father married a wealthy Scottish lady with this Surname (poss around 1880-1900?) and they carried it on as a forename. Most of the Wilson’s were in Blyth, Cambois, Northumberland and some still are! If this story rings a bell with anyone I would love to hear from you.
