Trying to find Farrell

My Granmother was Maryanne Farrel. She was born in Ballina, County Mayo. Her father owned the newspaper there and I am told family still do. Uncle Denis Farrell married Auntie Eda , nee Newton in Manchester area in 1954. They then lived in West Kirby. He was killed in an industrial acciedent in Hoylake 18 days after their marriage. His mother , May is also burried in Hoylake. I am told there are Farrels' in Hoylake. Margaret Farrel was matron of Blackburn Royal Infirmary for many years. Does anyone have any info on this branch of the Farrells? Sheila Morrell, grandaughter

Hello, June -

If you want to contact Sheila, click on her name, and send her a private message. It's ten years since she posted her Farrell request, so is unlikely to be looking for replies here now.

If you want any of the board helpers to have a look for info for you, please give us more detail - names, dates, etc. (EDIT: No, I take that back, in view of Reggie's post below.)

If you're hoping any Farrells currently living in Middlesbrough will see your message - it's highly unlikely.
If you're looking for living Farrell relatives, it would be better to start your own thread on the "Find Living Relatives" board.
