Member Since: December 2002 Posts: 3 Send Message	My name is Lynda Ballam. My maternal grandfather was James Henry Eyles. He was born in Marlborough, Wiltshire in 1860 and died in 1917 in Merthyr Tydfil. He was a regular soldier for much of his life. When he married my grandmother, he came to Merthyr Tydfil to work in the limestone quarries, supplying the local ironworks. According to their wedding certificate he was married before and I would like any information about his life prior to meeting my grandmother (sometime in the early 1900's)
