i am trying to trace my mothers family she was born margaret evans in edinburgh. her father was evan evans and her mother margaret crosbie. i would like information on there fore fathers and spouses and where they originally came from
evan was born in about 1904 his father was charles evans and his mother was mary lewis.

Hi Brian

There is a web site called Scotlands People, I have traced lots of info on my Scottish family from that. You may have tried it but I thought I would mention it just incase.
