Looking for details of Richard Allan Embleton b 1870 Hetton-le-Hole Durham (Coal Miner). His siblings were: Elenor H b 1856 at Murton; Thomas I. B 1857 at Murton; Margaret 1859; John b 1861 at Hetton; James b 1865 at Hetton; Joseph b 1873; Mary J. 1875. His parents were James Embleton & Jane Hope. Ricahrd married Hannah Burrell (she was born 1867 or 1868). They Had a child Margaret born 1891 or 2. Richard's wife and child are shown on the 1901 census but not him. One of the Embletons was a musician who played violin in a string quartet 'around the big houses'. Some descendants are musicians so this is of interest. Anyone know who the musician was? |
