JOHN DURRINGTON b(c1843) from SALISBURY, WILTSHIRE was a police constable. JOHN married MARY from LANGFORD, WILTSHIRE b(c1843) and had several kids: FANNY LOUISA DURRINGTON b(c1868) from SALISBURY,WILTSHIRE ANNIE DURRINGTON b(c1871) from SALISBURY, WILTSHIRE ALBERT DURRINGTON b(c1873) from SALISBURY WILTSHIRE ELLEN DURRINGTON b(c1875) from PORTSEA, HAMPSHIRE THOMAS DURRINGTON b(c1878) from PORTSEA, HAMPSHIRE MARY DURRINGTON b(c1880) from PORTSEA, HAMPSHIRE If anyone recognises these names or has the smallest piece of information then please please contact me. Fanny was my great great grandmother and she died when my greatgrandad was about 9-14yrs. He was put into an orphanage and then went into the services. During the war his posessions were destroyed by his landlady because she never expected him to return alive. He never knew his mothers name or had any pictures. It would mean a great deal to my grandmother if we could find a photograph or some information about this family. I have recently discovered that Fanny Louisa had a daughter who died at 1day old - we know so little about the family that my great-grandad did not know about the little girl. ANYTHING remotely connected to these people would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time, -K Lawrence
