I am trying to find out what happened to Emily Moore Asman b1883 in Hull. Parents William Lund Asman and Emily Elizabeth Moore. I cannot find anything after 1911 census when living and working in Mansfield Woodhouse for a lady called Jennie Eastwood (suspect doctors' surgery?). I have a feeling she may have emigrated. |

Have just come across your post, whilst researching an Emily Taylor. My Mother in law was fostered by an Emily & Benny Taylor in the 1940s & was cared for very much by them. We started to research them out of interest, to find out what had become of them. Just wondered what your connection was with them, & whether we can help each other with our searches? |

I know it was an old post but, in case it's of interest to Gillian or chinapattern, that 1911 departure to New York posted above is very unlikely to be their Emily Asman as that lady was Syrian. It was also her married name as she was the wife of Farris Asman. |
