Trying to find Delaney

My great-grandmother whose surname was Delaney (first name unknown) left Limerick, Ireland sometime during the 1800's and settled in the Newcastle area, possibly Wallsend. She married my great-grandfather, whose surname was TODD (again, first name unknown). My grandfather, John Dennis Todd, was born around 1890 in Wallsend. During his first marriage to Isobel Neil he had 4 children, one of whom was my mother, Mary Neil Todd. When my grandmother died he married again and had a further 7 children, making a total of 11. If anyone has any info on the Delaney connection, I would be interested to hear.
