Member Since: February 2003 Posts: 1 Send Message	My grandfather Abel Cooper was born in the Birmingham area sometime in 1870s.His family had a coal merchant business using a canal boat. As a young man he came to London, worked as printer and married Florence Wemborne, an East London girl. Eventually was a tenant of the Vulcan Pub in Poplar. Had three children, Harry, Florence and Edith.Died at the age of 90 a year after the death of his wife. I know that he and my Nan had family in London and the Birmingham area (name of WISE)Anything known of my forebears would be appreciated.
