Trying to trace my mother's family

My mother Rose Jane Cook DoB 27-10-1907, DoD 11-7-2003 in Oxford. She had a brother Thomas DoD circa 1983 in Dunstable, Beds.
My mother was married twice. First married name was ROWLEY (one son Raymond), date & place of marriage unknown. My father was William Stuart Hoare, again I don't know the place or date (could be Dunstable circa 1949/50) of marriage to my mother.
I have no information about my mother's parents. The only clue I have to earlier relations is my mother once told me she was a distant relative of the Thomas Cook who founded the travel firm.
