Hi Everyone,

I have knowledge of my Mum's side of the family as far back as my Great Great Great Grandfather who was Henry Chilcott, born in Burton Bradstock in 1816. I am trying to find any records back beyond this as here I am at a halt.

I have found the marraige of a John Chilcott to Elizabeth Knight in 1811 - could this be his parents?

I know Henty Chilcott married Amelia Floyd in 1836, records showing as Romsey Hampshire, but would like to know more about his origins and back beyond.

Can anyone help?

Wow - After looking at your replies I have heard back from someone (I requested to view their family tree) and they indeed have Henry's parents as Elizabeth and John Chilcott.

So now I need to search for them!!!

Hello, Henry was my 4th great grand uncle. his parents i believe were Elizabeth Buckler and John Chilcott, John's Parents were Joseph chilcott and frances Hawkins. I'm just working on the link with Elizabth Knight to our tree at the moment.
