I have 2 records of Ellen Bunnage born around 1838 in Luton, Bedfordshire One is a marriage record, found on familySearch. Marriage on 4 August 1879 to James Thorogood, born 1832 at St Mary's Luton, Bedfordshire. This lists the father as Thomas Bunnage. It also lists, James's father as Joseph Thorogood. The second is in the 1881 census. James, is living with Ellen in Luton and works as an agricultural labourer. There are several children but they are all Ellen's and they all have the surname Brown: James, b 1862, Luton Alfred, b 1865, Luton Arthur, b 1867, Luton Harriet, b 1869, Luton Albert, b 1876, Luton Any other information on this family would be much appreciated |
