Still looking after all these years for my aunt Sarah born in Openshaw c. 1917. She was placed in Holly Mount Lodge Manchester, run by the Sisters of Charity, in c.1931, and no real trace of her since. Family story is she was 'adopted' and later married and went to live in New York. Real brick wall as I don't know her adopted surname. Anyone got any advice, please? |
