BINNERSLEY
Trying to track down anyone with whom the following names might appear:
JOHN WILLIAM BINNERSLEY b 1875/9 who married a FRANCES EVANS in Shropshire in 1897. Neither left any father's names.
No Father's name on John William's MC but on the 1901 census his cousin George is staying with him. GEORGE HENRY BINNERLEY B 1882 in Berrington Workhouse- George was born to ELIZABETH BINNERSLEY B 1865 and was a domestic servant from Pontesbury. Elizabeth later married John William Dax. Elizabeth's birth again only shows her mother, HARRIETT BINNERSLEY b 1845 Church Stretton.
Would love to hear from anyone who is looking into these names in the Shropshire area or anyone who can help with this unusual name as it seems impossible to crack!
With Many Thanks Claire

Hi, Better late than never. I have only just found your Post. John William Binnersley was the eldest "natural" child of Mary Binnersley, born 1857 Shifnal, Shropshire. Mary had a further 2 "natural" children. Then she MARRIED a John Dunn in 1880 and seems to have had a further 5 Dunn children.
I do have some details of John Binnersley's father, (John English). John English is thought to be the father of Mary's 2 other "natural" children. I have researched the story of John Binnersley's 2 siblings, Ada Binnersley who was "adopted" into David and Elizabeth Forrest nee DUNN'S family in Dalziel, Lanark, Scotland. After her "adoption" Ada was recorded thereafter as Edith Forrest - David and Elizabeth's daughter. John William Binnersley was "adopted" into Maria Grace Rowley nee Binnersley's family. (Maria was the younger sister of Mary Binnersley). John W Binnersley immigrated to Victoria, Australia with the Rowley family in 1913 and married there. He had 1 son, John Binnersley Jnr who died a bachelor. . John Binnersley died in Victoria in 1950.
The third "natural" child of Mary Dunn nee Binnersley was little Agnes who died aged 3 yrs in Dalziel, Lanark. My subscription to GenesReunited finishes VERY soon, so you would need to contact me at home on [email protected]. Regards, Helen
