Can't find a marriage for them. James Stanley c1861 was her husband and they had at least 1 son, Emmanuel in 1900, in Stourbridge, Worcester. Like to know about her family and his. Not sure of births or places. Is there a connection? . Can you help, please?

Have birth cert for son Emanuel, my Grandad.

Looking for an update on this thread, please. Know that Pollie was Mary Jane Beaven and she married James Stanley about 1887/88 in Worcester area. States in 1911, married 24 years. States she had 10 children, 2 died and I only have the 8 named. Can anyone help find a certificate? I have a date of 19th June 1887, but not sure where I got it from. Can not find her death. but he died in 1917.

Thank you have found James but the one for Polly does not come up. Have tried it looking for annie maud humphry and frank summer hutchings. with no luck. Charles Edward Lucas is on the same one as James. Thank you though that is a great help. Have not done this side of the family in a while.

Could not find them on Ancestry but have them now on Reunited. thank you. Will be able to get a copy now. How can I find out who the decreased children were? They are not named on any census only the 8 that I have named.

Always use freebmd for BMD info...........up to around 1960

Use freebmd to look for infant/child deaths..........then cross-refer with births, taking into account the births of the surviving ones, and doing the maths

It won't be easy, in view of the way they moved around

BTW.

You could have ordered the copy marriage cert from the GRO with only one name, plus the refs.

You don't need both names................

No thank you. Have found some of her family now. I have just found Lucy Ann Stanley now. Born A/M/J and died in J/A/S 1897 in Walsall. Thanks for all the help today.
