Thanks to everyone for the info on Barbers. I think I now have the complete family of Joseph and Harriet Barber both born 1846. I am now trying to track down any current day descendants of the Barber siblings Lydia born 1867, Ethel born 1869, Joseph H born 1871, Courtney James born 1872, Frederick D born 1876 and Alice Gertrude born 1879 - who may have ended up with photos , letters etc relating to the life of Lydia and her husband Wallis David Spyer.

I have some unknown Barber family on my tree and notice some on your reply postings were from Greenwich. My Great Auntie Emma Elizabeth Dobbins married Arthur Albert Lloyd but was in 1925 living with an unknown male with the surname Barber.
I have the names of his children as Violet Barber, 1927 Greenwich and Eric Barber 1929 Greenwich.
Yet to confirm if Emm Elizabeth Lloyd (nee Dobbins) was married to the unknown Mr Barber. Do you have any connections?
