William Andrews, born c 1867 probably Coston, Somerset, son of Simon Andrews. Married Mary Mullins (b c 1865), daughter of Michael and Sarah, on 22nd April 1889 in Bourton Parish Church, Dorset. Daughters: Rosa E. Andrews (1890), Emily Andrews (1893), Annie Andrews (1895), Eva Andrews (1897) and Mary Ethel Andrews, born 13 Sept 1900 in Bourton. Mary Mullins (Andrews) died around the time Mary Ethel was born. From the 1901 census: William Andrews, Head, Wid, 37, Ordinary Agricultural Labourer, Born- Somerset Coston Denham Rosa E., daur, S, 11, Born: Dorset, Bourton Emily, daur, S, 8, Born: Dorset, Bourton Annie, daur, S, 6, Born: Dorset, Bourton Eva, daur, S, 4, Born: Dorset, Bourton Sarah Mullins, Lodger, Wid, 80, Born: Dorset, Bourton and Mary Ethel had been farmed out to be nursed: Village of Bourton, Kite's Nest Eliza Moore, Head, S, 37, Charwoman, Born: Dorset, Bourton Lillian M. ditto, dau, S, 12, Born: Wilts, Mere Mary Moore, sister, S, 37, Cook (domestic), Born: Dorset, Bourton Mary E. Andrews, nurse child, S, 6 months, Born: Dorset, Bourton Mary Ethel Andrews was my grandmother, and what you see here represents the sum total of what I know about her family! Any information at all about any members of this family would be greatly appreciated.
