jackie freedman my grannie Mary Cowan Young was born in scotland around 1900 its really her father that i am trying to get info about but this could prove very difficult as he was abanded at the age two when he arrived in Scotland from Ireland. He did not know what his name was so he was given the name John Cowan by the nuns that look after him. He married my great-grannie in Addiewell Ayrshire in Scotland around the late 1800. If any one read this and it sound familer or think they may be relative to my great granmother and can give any more info on this subject i would be very interested. |
