I appreciate that you added this as a side note, but Julie posted this more than 11 years ago, so it is highly unlikely that she will still be reading these boards. (She is showing 0 posts to her name)

A side note to this more than anything, which is that James Medhurst's eldest son John (who appears to have been known as Jack, and was the son of James and his first wife Alice, who died in 1898) was killed in the First World War in 1915 - his grave is in Potijze, Belgium and he's commemorated on the Slade Green war memorial.

Iwould like to be in touch with anyone related to Rachel Clifton who married my great grandfather James Medhurst.She moved to the Lord Raglan in Slade Green before the year of 1916 which is when my Grandfather was born.
