I am waiting to recieve a copy of my Grandmothers Death certificate but I wonder if there's anyone out there who recognises these details? I am looking for any living relatives on my Grandmothers side. Her name was MAUD but I do not know what her maiden name was. She was married to JOHN FREDERICK HARMAN (also known as JACK) and they had one son, my Dad, LEWIS JOHN HARMAN (born 24/2/39). My Grandmother was born around 1909 and I believe she orginally came from Blackpool or lived there as a child?? I think she had a sister and one brother, they were all fostered for a while before returning to their mother?? When she married my Granddad (he was from Leigh on Sea, Essex) they bourght a house in Meddow Lane, Hadleigh, Essex. My Granddad retired at an early age of 50, they then moved down to Paignton, Devon and spent the next 30 years there. In 1984, they moved to Clacton on Sea, Essex, where my Grandmother died - April 1985. My Grandparents and my Dad are no longer here with us and I wish to fill in the missing gaps, on the family I have never known or met. Is there any connection here with you?? If you think so or might be able to give me any information, I would be very grateful for any help. Thanks.
